Since the firm’s founding in 1985, community service has been an important part of Ephraim Abramson & Co. both as an institution and from the perspective of the individual attorneys and staff working with us. We are involved in a variety of capacities with several charitable and civic organizations, including formalized pro-bono projects through the Israel Bar Association and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Our pro bono and community service activities extend to all of the regions where we and many of our clients work and live.
Attorneys and administrative staff alike give time and resources focused on several areas. In particular, we provide direct legal assistance to indigent families, assist in the administration and guidance of an array of educational institutions, and actively support financially and with our services many charitable bodies, including Tmura, the Israeli Public Service Venture Fund.
In recognition of the firm’s extensive volunteer and pro bono work, the National Council for Social Development granted Ephraim Abramson & Co. the prestigious Social Development Award in the field of Law Firm Community Service, in 2008.
